My name is Farhad and I would like to start off by saying thank you for visiting my web site.  I would also like to take a moment to introduce myself; I am a software engineer by trade but an amateur artist for leisure.  Currently, I am studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Montclair State University. 

 I love visual art because it allows the possibility to potentially create a beautiful piece that can represent a stimulating narrative.  In addition, I enjoy poetry since it can hold an abundance of visual imagery that can then be translated into a delightful piece of visual art.  

I frequently borrow the concept of “Imagism” from poetry and incorporate it into my work.  This enables me to use an indirect language to express ideas.  The technique can be implemented in any form of visual art such as sculpture, drawings, paintings and photography.

Lately, I have concentrated on studying the poetry of Rumi, Emil Dickenson, and Robert Frost.  They are great sources for magical images.
