"Discreet Charm of Modernity" is a movie critique  of a 70s  movie  with the title "Discreet Charm Of  Bourgeoisie".  The movie is about the alienation and disillusionment  of lifestyle in capitalism .  This piece on the other  hand is about alienation and disillusionment in modern era.  It is a giant container with many broken pieces and holes that can not contain anything. 

This piece is  the pastiche of  ceramic plates by Peter Voulkos,   geometrization by Peter Haley , The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie  by Luis Buñuel and Colosseum for the ruins of Roman Empire.
